Mar 14, 2019 · I'm using a ps4 controller, and there doesn't seem to be any control mapped to reverse in vehicles. For reverse it just says [ACTION BRAKE], which isn't shown anywhere in the control scheme. I also can't descend when grappling. Please fix asap. I love this game and I've gotten quite far without it being a problem, but it's making Hurk's recruitment mission impossible.

Not only that, but when I go to options, neither the Classic nor Shooter controls page lists a Descend button. I'm pretty sure both show Descend with, but no button after. Seems like a crazy bug, especially as I can't find it documented anywhere
Apr 1, 2018 · I have never had a problem with the controller i use Xbox 360 though i use r trig and left trig for gas and brake/reverse and use the anolog stick for movement. A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic. Big Picture -> FC5 -> Controller options -> Set to 'Forced off'.
Dec 26, 2022 · half way through the game and i encountered this annoying bug or glitch where i can't use B to do anything like land or reverse in cars its becoming a pain, apparently this is a known bug but it's still being left. tried to get a refund due the game now being unplayable and i was refused. now have a game that i can't play and steam won't do anything. honestly would get better customer service

May 10, 2019 · Hello guys so this what worked for me regarding to the issue with cars not reversing and helicopters and airplanes not descending for both controllers PS4 and Xbox. Step 1: Open Steam and then open big picture mode and make sure that your controller is working in big picture mode. Step 2: Open Far Cry 5 once you get into the games menu in big picture mode click on manage game.
